Taking Presentations To The Next Level
Genealogical lecturing is more than just talking about a subject you love.  This presentation will discuss lecture development, concept building, content focuses, case-study engagement, effective visuals, pacing, voice confidence, and adapting to listener needs.  Elements of syllabus materials will also be introduced. The lecture will be based on teaching with slide deck presentations and how color, form, and text can be simple but powerful.
 
Writing For Clients (or Ourselves)
Writing is scary for all of us, but it is the most amazing method for not just communicating your research but working out conflicts as well.  We will talk about two forms of writing for clients: reports and narratives. This lecture will feature case building, introducing theory, indirect evidence, proof statements, and formatting for visual legibility.  We will also use tables, images, and citations to prove our case.
